Linda B. Braswell, is a Master Certified Bail Agent by the Professional Bail Agents of the United States. She was licensed as a bail agent in 1974 after working for several years in a bail bonds office as a secretary.  She was the youngest ever licensed female Bail Agent in the State of Florida at that time.

Linda has owned Braswell Bail Bonds in Stuart, Florida, since 1975 and has served as the President of Braswell Surety Services, Inc., since 1981. In addition, she is the exclusive Florida Managing General Agent for Baltimore, Maryland based Lexington National Insurance Corporation.

Linda has served on the PBUS board since and is the Past President Florida Surety Agents Association. In 1995, she was inducted into the Professional Bail Agents of the United State Hall of Fame. She received the distinguished honor as the 2003 PBUS Bail Agent of the Year. She served on the Florida Department of Insurance Bail Bond Blue Ribbon Panel and is a Certified Florida Pre-Licensing Instructor, Certified Florida Continuing Education Instructor, and PBUS Certified Bail Agents Program Instructor.

Jeff Kirkpatrick, of Jackson, Michigan is a Life Member of PBUS and a Master Certified Bail Agent. He has been a bail agent for the past 27 years and is the Vice President of Industry Relations for Universal Fire & Casualty Insurance Company. His in depth involvement in PBUS has led to him currently serving as it's Executive Vice-President. He has served as Vice President, Director-at-Large, Division Director, Division Vice-Director and served on numerous PBUS committees.

Additionally, Jeff was a member of a special commission that was impaneled to recommend and implement procedural safeguards designed to enhance public safety during the fugitive apprehension process. He has taught various seminars on Skiptracing and Bail Recovery. He is the chairman of the bylaws and parliamentary committee and is the PBUS webmaster. He was responsible for the creation of the first PBUS website in 1996. Jeff is the current President of the Michigan Professional Bail Agents Association. He holds a Fidelity and Surety Insurance License from the State of Michigan. He writes both property and corporate surety bail.

Jeff obtained certification as an Electronics Technician from the Federal Communications Commission and is licensed as an Amateur Radio Operator and a certified locksmith. He is the immediate past President of the Westwood Area Community Federal Credit Union and currently serves as a Director.

Marco LiMandri entered the bail bond business in the fall of 1972. In May of 1973 he started his own agency, Big Marco Bail Bonds.  He served as President of the San Diego Bail Agents Association from 1976 until 1980.  February 1980 through May 1985 he wrote bail nights and weekends, while he worked as a business agent for the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Union. Marco served as Chairman of the union’s Health and Welfare Trust Fund and was Secretary-Treasurer from 1982 to 1985.

In late 1985 entered the bail business full time.  In 1987 he reorganized the San Diego bail agents association and once again was elected as their President where he served until 1992 when he became the Vice President to the California Bail Agents Association.  In 1996 he was elected as President of CBAA and served in that capacity until 2000.  Marco was elected as PBUS Director At Large in 2002 and again in 2004. He now serves as Vice President of PBUS.

Russell “Gene” Newman is a bail agent from Pearl, Mississippi. Gene has been licensed since 1977, following his parents, Paul and Ruth Newman in the business. He owns and operates AAA Bonding Company in Jackson, Mississippi and also serves as Vice President of Industry Relations for Accredited Surety & Casualty Co. Inc. of Orlando, Florida. He holds a B.S in Economics from the University of Southern Mississippi and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.  
                                                    
Gene is a past President of the Mississippi Bail Agents Association where he currently serves as Treasurer. He served as President of the Professional Bail Agents Association of the United States from 1996 to 1997 and currently serves as Secretary and holds the PBUS Master Certified Bail Agent (MCBA) desigination.   Gene was honored as Bail Agent of the Year by PBUS in 1998 and was elected to the PBUS Hall of Fame in 2007.  He is a member and serves on various civic association boards in Mississippi and is a volunteer assistant baseball coach at Hinds Community College.

Dudley Goolsby received his BA from Oklahoma State University in 1965 and entered the bail bond business in 1976.  He made it his full time profession in 1984.  He was elected President of the Oklahoma Bondsmen’s Association in 1988 and served as President until 2003.  During his presidency Oklahoma passed the bail agent education law requiring pre license and continuing education for licensure to write bail in Oklahoma.  This law was passed over the Governors veto.  Oklahoma  Bondsmen’s  Association purchased  an  8000 sq ft  building  two blocks from the state capital that serves as our headquarters.

He served as Chairman of the Council of Presidents for four years and as Editor of The Perspective for a year, member of the Visa Bond Committee, Future of Bail Committee and the Taskforce for PBUS Public Information.  He is a Certified Bail Agent and a member of PBUS since 1989 and had the honor of being named Bail Agent of the Year for 1996.

Dudley is a Managing General Agent for Safety National Casualty Corp. in Oklahoma.  He currently serves as a board member of the Oklahoma County Conditional Bond Program.  He is currently Legislative Chair for the Oklahoma Association and has been a certified instructor for Oklahoma’s pre license school.

Armando Roche is chairman and CEO of Roche Bail Bonds, Roche Surety Inc., and Roche Surety and Casualty Co., Inc. Mr. Roche has been in the bail profession for over thirty-nine years. He is a 1971 graduate of the University of Tampa with a BA in social science. He is also licensed by the state of Florida as a 234-bail agent.

Throughout his career, Mr. Roche has held various positions within the surety industry at both state and national levels. He served as President, Chairman of the Education Committee and is currently Chairman of the Legislative Committee for the Florida Surety Agents Association. He is an instructor for the Florida Department of Financial Services for the pre-licensing and continuing education courses for the bail profession.

Mr. Roche is a founding member of the Professional Bail Agents of the United States Association. Since 1981 he has served continuously as Vice President or as Executive Vice President until 1988 when he was elected to the office of President and served two terms until 2002. September 2007 marks Glenn Strickland 29th year in the bail profession.During these 29 years, Glenn has confronted many challenges to both protect and improve the bail business and professional bondsmen.

As a member of the Professional Bondsmen of Houston (PBH), Glenn was elected to the offices of Vice-President (1 term) and President (2 terms).  In 1981, PBH awarded him the title of Professional Bondsman of the Year.

The Professional Bondsmen of Texas (PBT) also elected Mr. Strickland to the positions of Vice-President (1 term) and President (2 terms). Glenn is a past and current member of the PBT Board of Directors and a member of the legislative committee. At present, he is serving as chair of the Publicity Committee. This committee is responsible for promoting the PBT throughout the state and for publishing The Bondsman; newsmagazine that informs, educates, and unites Texas bondsmen.At the 2004 PBT annual conference in San Antonio, Texas, Glenn was honored with the nomination and selection as Bondsman of the Year;.

Glenn is also co-founder of the Council of Presidents, a committee that advises The Professional Bail Agents of the United States (PBUS). This group creates an arena where former and sitting presidents of all state associations come together to speak as peers about bail issues in their states. While spectators are welcome at these gatherings, only the council members are recognized to speak and engage in debates.Glenn has served as the elected chair of the Council of Presidents; for nine consecutive years.

For the past three years, Glenn has been honored by his peers and elected to serve on the Harris County Bail Bond Board as the bondsmans representative.Each time he was re-elected with 100% of the bondsmens vote.

Defending the respected profession of the professional bondsman is the continued focus of Glen Stricklands undertakings and he will continue to promote this endeavor at every level.

Scott G. Hall was born June 8, 1964 in Linden, Alabama and graduate High School from Marengo Academy in 1982. He joined the United States Marine Corp Reserve the same year where he served ten years and was honorably discharged in 1992.  He received his BA in Finance from University of South Alabama in 1987. He moved to Atlanta and went to work for a financial planning firm. He started his own firm specializing in estate planning in May of 1991 with his business partner, Christopher J. Bohrer. Chris and Scott decided to enter the bail bond business in 1994 by incorporating Anytime Bail Bonding, Inc.  He and his business partner have grown Anytime Bail Bonding from two employees to over forty with eight offices covering 13 counties. 

He was elected President of the Georgia Association of Professional Bondsmen (www.gapb.org) in fall of 1998, and is currently serving his fourth two year terms as President.  During his involvement with the GAPB has helped pass the bail agent education law requiring  continuing education for licensure to write bail in Georgia, has help pass legislation to establish minimum standards for recovery agents, and has help pass legislation increasing the allowable bond fees charged on bonds.

He has also been a member and served on the Board of the Professional Bondsmen of the United States (www.pbus.com) since February of 1996. He has served as Senior Vice President, and currently serves as the Deep South Director. He served as served as a Member of the Council of Presidents for eight years, and as member of the Technology Committee, member of the Visa Bond Committee, Future of Bail Committee, and the Legislative Committee.  He is a Certified Bail Agent and a member of PBUS since 1996.

He currently lives in Augusta, Georgia with his wife (Robin) and his daughter (Madison). He is a member of the Warren Baptist Church.

Guy Ruggiero currently serves as the South Central Director for PBUS. He also serves as Vice President of the Louisiana Independent Business Association (LIBA) a Self Insured Workers Compensation Fund Association in Louisiana. Guy, a native from Donaldsonville, Louisiana, attended Ascension Catholic High. Afterwards, Guy went on to attend Nicholls State University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. After receiving his Bachelors degree in education, Guy launched his career in 1978 when he accepted a position as a field underwriter with the New York Life firm. In 1982, Guy started and served as President of Ruggiero and Associates, Inc., a general insurance agency that specializes in life, health, auto, commercial, and personal insurance.

In 1994, Guy created yet another organization known as the Association of Louisiana Bail Underwriters, Inc. where he currently resides as President. Later, in 1996, Guy was responsible for creating and passing legislation that enables bail agents to receive Pre-Licensing instruction and Continued Education. In response to his dedicated work on this subject, the Louisiana Department of Insurance appointed Guy as a founding member of the Insurance Education Advisory Council (IEAC).
