Registration and Application Form

  Please read the following instructions and procedures to achieve the desired CBA™ certification

  • All required classes must be successfully completed within a 2 year period in order to receive credit for payments and classes attended.
  • üOnly a licensed bail agent is authorized by PBUS to use the CBA designation once achieved.
  • All six (6) CBA classes are taken online.
  • üAll CBA class exams must be taken at either the winter conference or mid-year meeting along with a signed student/instructor verification form for completion.
  • üAll fees must be paid and verified before a student will be allowed to take a CBA test at the Testing Center.
  • If a student has failed a test, they may re-take the test without penalty.  

NOTE:  You MUST confirm on your registration form for either the winter conference or mid-year meeting of your intent to take a CBA test at the Testing Center to be added to the master Testing Center roster and for payment verification.

Certificate of completion for CBA classes will be mailed within 45 days of successful completion. If you do not receive your certificates within that time, please contact PBUS to research that the completed test was taken and passed. After a student has completed all six (6) classes, the individual may elect to purchase a CBA plaque to be presented at the next winter conference or mid-year meeting in front of their peers.  

To maintain the CBA designation, a member must be a member in good standing with current dues.
